Lifestyle by Midas is a food, cooking and daily-tracking app in beta. Everything you enter is stored on your device only. There is no online account, no server of ours, and no analytics.
What the app stores
Local profiles you create and what you type into them: a profile name, optional age and gender, starting and goal weight, timezone and language, your own targets, household, allergy and equipment preferences, food labels and ingredients, dated meal records and their corrections, cooked batches and cooking timers, weight and sleep entries, and which fields you chose to show a local "friend" profile. All of it lives in the app's storage on your device. The included labels and recipes are invented examples, not a real brand's data.
Local profiles are not accounts and are not password-protected: anyone who can open the app on your device can switch between them. Targets are yours to enter; nothing in the app is medical advice.
What it does not do
The beta does not connect to Apple Health or a watch, does not use the camera or your photos, does not send anything to an AI service, has no email or account login, and has no notifications. If any of these are added, they will need their own permission prompt and this page will be updated first.
Sharing and export
The friends screen is a local preview: it shows only the fields you switch on, to a profile on the same device, and sends nothing to another person or device. You can export your own data to a file; that file is then under your control.
Third parties
Beta builds are distributed through Apple's TestFlight, which has its own privacy terms. There is no advertising and no tracking SDK. A browser preview of the app, if you use one, is served by our hosting provider, whose logs may record ordinary page requests (such as your IP address); your entries are not part of those requests.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and its stored data is removed from your device; operating-system backups may keep a copy under the system's own rules. Nothing is on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. Please do not put real health records into beta feedback or screenshots.
